Here is September Pictures..

Ok, round two. Here are the pictures taken in September. Enjoy and don't forget to leave  your comments on what you think.. I love to read them.

We started out September with a bang!! Bridget couldn't wait to pull her first tooth, and begged her dad for days to pull it even though it was not hardly loose. I think when he yanked on the string he had to yank so hard to get it out she may have receive 'Whip-Lash'

We did do Questar Lagoon day like we do every year. Bridget made sure she wore her cowboy boots because she wanted to make sure she would get on all the big rides. She would slip her feet up inside the boots and be tall enough with out looking like she was on her tip-toes. They had a blast. Shane would not let me ride on any rides because of the upcoming baby. So I watched and enjoyed their smiles. The only pictures that I got of them was this one where we debated whether or not to keep them in jail at Pioneer Village and the one of them on the RattleSnake Rapids with their dad about to get drenched in a waterfall.

With 'Hope Kids' Shane was able to take them to Barnum & Bailey  Circus. They had so much fun.

The next activity that their dad took them to with  'Hope Kids' was the Biker Bar-B-Que. The bikers even let the girls sit on their awsome Motorcycles.

Shane has been on a Sushi kick lately and now has decided to try and make his own. This was his first attempt. It did turn out pretty good if you like Sushi (which I don't).

And to end the month I had to put together (along with the other leader) a Mother & Daughter Activity Day. We did Facials and Mini Manicures and Pedicures. This is a picture of Bridget enjoying her time...

Trying to Catch this Blog up.. August

Well here a few things the Family did in August.

We took a trip to Star Valley, Wyoming. My favorite place ever.....
While there, the girls got arrested for being to 'Cute' by my old childhood friend Corry Basset.. Notice how Bridget also talked him out of his Cool cop glasses.

We also took an Awsome 4-wheeler ride with my dad, and on the way to Strawberry we stopped to pay tribute to my baby sister Christy's grave...

Here we are stopped to have lunch at Strawberry. What a nostalgic moment for me. I couldn't help but remember doing this as a kid with my family. This was one of the best times I have had with my father.

No prettier place on earth then Star Valley...

Bridget had cought a butterfly and got some of the wing dust on her, but she swore it was Fairy Dust... She made me take a picture for her to show her dad when we got home.

You can't go to Strar Valley in August and not attend the County Fair. My friend Tracey Trefren was nice enough to paint my girls faces for FREE (which Bridget has asked me to fork out the money for EVERY time we go to Lagoon, and I won't) Thanks Tracey, you made their day!

I decided it was time for the girls to learn how to clean a bathroom and to learn how to do it the proper way... They did a GREAT job!

I didn't take many pictures at Family Heart Camp this year, but here is one or Shane and the girls.

I entered the girls into a new school called Legacy Prep. It is a charter school. I was so nervouse about changing schools and whether or not I was making the right choice. But I can now say I am SO GLAD we did it.. I love the school and their way of teaching. Here is Shaela at her first day of 3rd grade.. It is a uniform school.

Casual Day

Dress Day

Bridget's first day of Kindergarten. Notice her holding a sing language 'K' up. She looks like she is throwing out gang signs,,, hmmm

Also took the girls to the Davis County Fair. And Yes I forked out the money for us to sit in the cage with the baby tigers and pet them. The girls loved them, and from this picture I think the baby tigers loved them too.

Shaela's Copper Cup Competition

Shaela did her first Figure Skating competition on July 9th. She also won 1st place! How excited she was. And what a great way for her to learn what all the hard work she had put into it can give her. Her next one will be in September.

Afton, Wyoming... Home!

We went to Wyoming awhile ago. The girls had so much fun! I always love the feeling I get as soon as I come into the Valley. There is nothing like the feeling you get when you feel like you are home. Uncle Kevin took the girls on the 4-wheeler a few times. I truly believe he is trying to see how many lives they have with him. Here is some pics. of their fun and of Kevin taking the girls for a joy ride on the sleds.

The girls all ready to go out in the cold. Yep they learned what it is like to have their nostrils stick together...

Faster.... Faster....

This is Bridget going at TOP SPEED!! Great Video..

I love the Cherry Cheeks look..

Later that night they decided to get into makeup and dress up...

Try This

Everyone! For one day try being a diabetic. When you wake up prick your finger. On everything you eat or drink check the Carbs, Calories and Fats. Now do the math work to figure out your insulin intake. Also before every meal prick your finger. Oh-ya don't forget to prick your finger 2hrs after meals or snacks to make ...sure your did your math right on your insulin intake! Now watch the looks you get when you want to eat a Sweet and someone always says "aren't you a diabetic?" Seriously? Do they think there is any way I could forget? What do they think this big old fasioned pager thing hooked to me 24/7 is for? Style? Just try it for one day and tell me how you did. I DARE you! If you don't have a pricker just take a needle and slam it into the tip of your finger it feels the same, but I promise your fingers get use to it after awhile and you will have to make the needle go deeper to draw blood? Have fun. Oh-ya don't forget the bedtime blood check and all the numerous shots through out the day... or if your on a pump you have to insert a 2" needle with cathidor into you every other day.
